Where do you see yourself in five years? This is the token question of employers given to job candidates in interviews. The thought is to pick the brain of the applicant and get a feel for their outlook, expectations, drive or ambition. Maybe the responses point to a mindset that could succeed in a given situation; maybe it's lip service. Maybe it's the first step in the career mating-dance. Whatever it is, it is the point at which I will interject romantic, poetic, epic imagery into the daily grind. I hope to update it daily. However, I don't really see myself doing this in five years. About the project: This is an art project, beating to death the idea of escapism from behind the keyboard. I just want to give myself a moment of relief through my imagination. I take pleasure in daily updates, at least M-F, from work.
